I am currently working with a household named business who are going through an exciting time of restructuring and are looking for an Interim Finance Business Partner specialising in Stock to strengthen the team while establishing stability within a technically strong team.
A successful candidate will have a strong technical skillset at well as relevant FMCG stock accounting experience. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to analysing sales forecasts and stock requirements to ensure optimum performance and stock control, and ultimately achieve sales targets, margin and product availability. Monitored stock levels across the business - both in store and the warehouse to ensure stock turnover met the needs of the business. Ideally you will -
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience working within Retail, our client will be particularly impressed with a Big Four Background.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of stock accuracy, stock adjustments and understanding of the impact of multi-book accounting.
- Hold excellent communication skills with the ability to provide sufficient evidence for improvement recommendations to the FD and CFO.
