Client Manager | East Grinstead | £45k-£60k +Bonuses
AJ Chambers are actively seeking an experience Client Manager to join a leading accountancy firm based in East Grinstead.
POSITION:
Client Manager responsible for a portfolio of clients.
Mixed portfolio consisting largely of self-employed barristers but also companies, partnerships and personal tax. Ability to deal with Trusts useful but not essential
Offer:
- £45,000 to £60,000 + Bonuses (4% of monthly fees billed) Paid overtime in November, December and January
- Benefits include pension (3.5% employer contribution), private medical scheme and group life insurance scheme.

THE APPLICANT:
- Ideally ICAEW or ACCA qualified, will consider QBE for right candidate
- 7 - 10 years' practice experience
Experience in general practice essential, duties will include:
- Preparation of sole trade and company accounts.
- Preparation of self assessment tax return
- Preparation of partnership and company tax returns.
- Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Xero useful but not essential
This is a client facing role so a professional attitude and personable demeanour is essential. Must be able to work independently as the role involves the control of a portfolio of clients with the manager being, in most cases, the sole point of contact.
LOCATION: East Grinstead
The applicant should be located within reasonable commuting distance of East Grinstead and must have a full driving licence.

A leading firm of chartered accountants dealing with the taxation and accounting affairs of barristers, dealing with over 3,500 clients including approximately 2,500 barristers and 60 barristers' chambers based mainly in London.
There are 6 partners, 20 professional staff, and 5 support staff.
