As a Principal Transport Planner, you will help bring new developments to life, and your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Maintain existing client relationships and develop new areas of business
- Lead, inspire, and manage a junior team of Transport Planners.
- Delegate work to available resources to ensure delivery of projects on-time and within budget.
- Oversee the production of Transport Statements, Transport Assessments and Travel Plans, producing these yourself in addition when required.
- Oversee site access/preliminary junction design using AutoCAD.
- Oversee GIS mapping software.
- Review and upskill junction modelling using Junctions (ARCADY/PICADY).
- Engage in both internal and external training sessions and design meetings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the above at a planning consultancy, or a strong background in project delivery.
