A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner for a permanent role on behalf of our client based in Tilbury.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To arrange and control transport movements in line with the customer requirements.
- Liaise with with different departments within the company
- Day to day running of the Pallet Network
- Ensure that all costs associated with each job are managed to the highest level of profit
- Planning the most efficient routes and schedules for shipments and monitoring the loading and unloading of the palletized goods.
- Communicating efficiently with drivers, warehouse managers and customers.
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in transportation planning, preferably in a consulting or public agency setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with transportation modeling software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours:
Monday to Friday: 5am- 3pm/ 10am-8pm
