Head of Projects
Are you an experienced project leader with a passion for digital transformation in the Retail space? Our client, a leading global digital transformation company, is seeking a dynamic and proactive Head of Projects to join their expanding team. This pivotal role carries full responsibility for the successful installation and deployment of cutting-edge solutions across the UK and ROI. Your mission will be to ensure the right products are delivered to the right locations at the right time, consistently meeting and exceeding client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and coordinate the installation of solutions, ensuring seamless execution from start to finish. You will manage timelines, resources, and ensure adherence to established procedures.
- Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction. Your team will be the face of our company, representing our values and commitment to excellence.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Engineering Manager and Head of Operations to align stock and resource availability with project requirements. Collaborate with the sales and key account teams during the onboarding of new customers, leveraging your expertise to ensure smooth transitions.
- Cost Control: Manage and monitor project costs, particularly for additional work outside of business as usual. You will ensure tight cost controls are in place and that all installations are executed within budget.
- Independent Working: Thrive in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Your ability to prioritize workload and establish effective daily routines will be key to your success.
What We're Looking For:
- A proven track record in project management, ideally within a digital transformation or technology environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in managing budgets and cost controls.
- A self-motivated and determined individual, with a genuine interest in working for a global leader in digital transformation.
- Previous experience within the Retail space or with EPOS Systems will be a huge benefit.
This role will require travel to the Manchester and Luton office each week.
