We have an exciting opportunity for a Beverage Category Manager with our client. You will work closely with their clients to deliver expert procurement services, saving them both time and money, and enabling them to focus on what really matters to their businesses.
The role is offered with Hybrid working of 3 days in the office based in West London and 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities of the Beverage Category Manager:
- Responsible for day-to-day supplier and contract management, ensuring the business relationship is maximised
- Develop the category strategy and long-range income growth plan (3 years) using continuous improvement tools and processes to drive sustainable business volume growth opportunities
- Provide effective leadership and development to direct reports
- Own steps 1, 3, 4, and 5 of the Procurement Framework (FPF): business needs, category strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Capture and influence business requirements across the Hot Beverage spend and assist in winning and retaining clients and consumers
- Ensure distributor service levels from contracted manufacturers exceed business expectations and deliver volume growth.
- Deliver customer and market focus through close supplier relationships, competitor understanding, and exploitation of market-driven data to create market leadership for the business.
- A world-class negotiator.
- Continuously seek category development opportunities to advantage their clients in their marketplace.
- Provide leadership and guidance across the function, accountable for the results and outputs of the team.
