Brief Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist (BMS) to join our busy Haematology Department. The role involves covering all areas of the department, including haemostasis and morphology. Proficiency with Sysmex XN and CS/CN analysers is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret haematological tests and assays.
- Operate and maintain Sysmex XN and CS/CN analysers.
- Conduct quality control and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and standards.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to provide accurate and timely results.
Requirements:
- HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
- Proven experience in a busy haematology laboratory setting.
- Expertise in haemostasis and morphology.
- Prior experience with Sysmex XN and CS/CN analysers.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
