Job Title: Workshop Manager
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + per annum depending on experience
Sector: Plant Hire Company, Construction or Builders Merchant advantageous, but non- essential, HGV Mechanic, Management
We are recruiting an experienced Workshop Manager for our well-respected client within the Plant Hire sector.
Our client hire out Excavators, Diggers, Dumpers, Telehandlers and more. If you have experience as a Workshop Manager working on Plant equipment + HGVs, we would love to hear from you. Mechanical and Electrical experience is needed.
We are looking for an individual who ideally has experience working as Workshop Manager. This is a busy and fast paced role working within a specific area.
Do you have:
- Experience in Maintaining Plant Equipment
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or time served
- Workshop or Mobile Fitter Experience
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatic, Mechanical and Electrical
- Mechanical and Electrical Background
- Experience managing a team
- Experience in a busy workshop
- Experience delegating tasks to other members of the team
As an experienced Workshop Manager with a proven track record in a similar role, you should demonstrate a hardworking, can-do approach, along with lots of self-motivation and the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
