Location - Sevenoaks

Salary- £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum DOE, including £4.8K allowance

Hours - Permanent

Our client, an established distributor of fixtures and fastenings, is looking for an HR Advisor to support the team.

Responsibilities for the role of HR Advisor

  • Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, source candidates, screen resumes, and facilitate the hiring process.
  • Employee Onboarding and Support: Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, serve as a point of contact for employee enquiries, and support investigations into complaints or misconduct.
  • Policy and Procedure Management: Assist in developing and updating HR policies, communicate changes to employees, and provide training on policies and procedures.
  • Performance and Development: Support the performance review process, guide managers on performance improvement plans, and assist in employee development plans and career pathways.
  • HR Administration and Compliance: Maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR reports and metrics, manage mandatory training requirements, and assist with payroll processing and benefits administration.

Personal Skills and Attributes for the role of HR Advisor

  • Previous HR generalist experience is required
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is required
  • Previous experience working with highly con?dential and sensitive information is required
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Law
  • Ability to ?ex working hours to maintain a presence with the Night Shift team, as and when required
  • Occasional travel to the regional office will be required on occasion
  • Associate Diploma in People Management or willingness to work towards achieving it
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact e?ectively with people at all levels within the organisation
  • Excellent problem-solving and con?ict resolution abilities
  • Ability to interpret and analyse quantitative and qualitative data
