We are in search of a dedicated Finance Assistant to support our Accounting & Finance department in the property industry.

Description
- Supporting the Credit Control Team to aid the speed of collections.
- Assist in the electronic billing for customers
- Allocation of bank receipts to customer accounts
- Maintenance of "off-line" debt related reports
- Linking of customer accounts and updating bank account details to facilitate customer refunds
- Raising of manual invoices and credit note requests, as well as checking those that are raised outside of the department before being sent for approval.
- Banking cheques
- Oversee and report on Tenant Deposit Accounts
- Supporting the Financial reporting Team with the Annual Subsidiary Accounts process.
- Rolling forward balances on Accounting Software and uploading current year trial balances
- Updating the timetable and reporting on key deliverables and outstanding
- Sourcing supporting documentation for audit purposes
- Working with Company Secretary to arrange timely filing of accounts
Profile
- Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency in Excel
- Systems savvy
- Good grasp of numeric information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Positive outlook with a 'can do' attitude with the ability to forge good relationships across the business
- Able to communicate with both finance and non-finance professionals
- Self-Starter- able to identify issues and use initiative and interpersonal skills to resolve issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good communication skills - written and verbal.
