Multi Vehicle Mechanic - Experience required

Reed are seeking skilled Vehicle Mechanics to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles, including cars, vans, and HGVs. This role requires a professional who is adept at using diagnostic equipment to identify and repair mechanical issues, ensuring high-quality service and safety standards are met.
Day to day of the role:
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
- Perform routine maintenance and thorough vehicle inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify mechanical problems.
- Work collaboratively with other mechanics and team members to enhance service quality.
- Adhere to all safety precautions to prevent accidents and protect against hazardous fluids and chemicals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles.
- Proficiency in using vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
- Ability to handle various tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Commitment to observing all safety precautions and protocols.
Qualifications:
- A vocational school certification or completion of an apprenticeship is highly preferred.
