Pensions Programme Manager - Insurance

We are currently recruiting for a Pensions Programme Manager with strong Pensions Experience to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract.

Please note this role is Inside IR35 and likely to be Hybrid working in Redhill.

You will be accountable for successful delivery of all aspects of GMP Equalisaion, Reconciliation and Rectification projects. You will have extensive experience in the Pensions Industry and preferably with knowledge of GMP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage multiple delivery teams to drive productivity, quality and deliver success
  • Collaborate with the wider business and client teams
  • Provide guidance, technical and management leadership to team members
  • Provide support and guidance as necessary to team members in best practices, tool use, and approach
  • Work closely with the Head of GMP to build a robust pipeline of work for future years considering a balance of client needs and capacity
  • Ensure consistent approach to planning across all aspects of GMP equalisation and associated work in the portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers ensuring plans are robust and meet client expectations
  • Ensure client project/implementation plans are achievable and client teams understand their technical dependencies
  • Support new GMP Projects due diligence and input to pricing assumptions
  • Implement mechanism to track project deliverables to ensure all planned functionality is available at go-live and work with Project Managers, workstream leads and administration teams to manage exceptions
  • Implement mechanism to define and track internal efficiency KPIs associated with benefits realization and the agreed business case
  • Work collaboratively with client managers to capture any client specific business requirements and translate these into logical, complete and unambiguous requirements for technical specialist to carry out
  • Work with delivery leads to develop and deliver test plans
  • Support Data Migration team to analyse client data and communicate requirements with external parties
  • Identify, mitigate and resolve delivery and quality risks and issues.
  • Manage go-live efficiency, defect resolution, prompt transition to business as usual operation
  • Monitor live projects and identify for continuous improvement in both the programme and the programme materials.
  • Support project Steering Committeees and Chair program Steering Committees and Delivery Boards.
