This Leeds based organisation is a market leader within their sector, with a sizeable finance team across Yorkshire and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Group Accountant to join this well established team.

Description

As Senior Group Accountant your responsibilities will include;

  • Full responsibility for the preparation and review of group management accounts
  • Implementing effective strategies to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues.
  • Liaising with auditors to ensure annual audits are carried out.
  • Presenting financial reports and analysis to management and stakeholders.
  • Direct line management responsibilities.

Profile

A successful Senior Group Accountant should have:

  • ACCA/ CIMA or ACA qualified
  • Proven experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and various office applications.
  • A proven track record of demonstrating good financial governance
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Offer

  • A salary range of £60,000 - £66,000 per annum.
