Are you passionate about literature and HR? Our client, a prestigious rare bookstore based in South West London, is seeking a HR Assistant to join their team!

?? Contract Type: Permanent

?? Annual Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 (DoE)

?? Working Pattern: 30 hours over 4 or 5 days, including Fridays

?? Location: South West London with the possibility to work from home 1 or 2 days per week

As a HR Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR Manager and the team, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with GDPR and privacy regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

?? Schedule management and exploring alternative scheduling software options.

?? Taking meeting minutes and recording important discussions.

?? Maintaining highly organised and GDPR-compliant paperwork and data.

?? Assisting in the recruitment process, including coordinating interviews.

?? Managing health and safety practises and risk assessments.

?? Coordinating performance reviews and probationary meetings.

?? Issuing contract and salary amendments, following templates.

?? Overseeing holiday balances, absences, and leave requests.

?? Organising training courses and maintaining training records.

?? Assisting with pre-onboarding and onboarding tasks.

?? Coordinating offboarding and retrieving company property.
