Your new role
As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Guiding and training more junior procurement staff
- Ensuring that correct procurement regulations and process are followed by the wider organisation in adherence with Scotland's Public Sector Procurement Regulations
- Engaging in stakeholder management with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing market insights and information to internal teams
- Managing the tendering process for the organisation in line with the appropriate frameworks
- Managing and monitoring existing suppliers and onboarding new ones
- Monitoring continuous improvement of procurement processes
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have:
- MCIPS qualification (or relevant experience)
- Knowledge and experience with Public Sector Regulations
- People management experience
- Extensive tendering experience
- The ability to adapt in a changing environment
- Full and clean UK driving licence
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
