We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrator to join our client's friendly team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of payroll processing. We're looking for someone with a combination of technical competence as well as great communication skills a passion for problem-solving, and a commitment to meeting deadlines are key attributes we seek.
As an Administrator, you will be responsible for processing payroll, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation, and providing accurate and timely payroll support.

Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll for employees across three business sites
  • Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and keep up-to-date with any changes
  • Calculate and process holiday pay, statutory payments, and other payroll-related deductions
  • Generate weekly HR reports and provide insightful analysis on payroll data
  • Process starters and leavers, including issuing relevant paperwork and updating payroll records
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records
  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll-related matters in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
  • Solid understanding of payroll processing and statutory legislation
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HR processes and procedures is a plus

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position Monday to Friday, with a total of 25 hours per week. The ideal candidate would be available to work over 5 days, but we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements. Remote work options are not available for this role.
On offer is a salary of 27,000 per annum (pro rata) with hours Monday to Friday, 22-25 hours per week
