Experienced School Receptionist/ Administrator - Enhanced DBS Required

We are seeking dedicated School Receptionist Administrators to join our vibrant educational teams in Hackney and Tower Hamlets. This role is ideal for organised, friendly, and professional individuals who are committed to creating a welcoming and efficient front-office environment in our schools who have adequate school MIS systems experience (SIMS/ Arbor or BromCom).

School Receptionist Administrator (Primary and Secondary School)

Annual Salary: £14.00 per hour (PAYE)

Location: Hackney and Tower Hamlets

Job Type: Term-Time Only

Day-to-day of the role:

Serve as the first point of contact for students, staff, and visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and efficient direction to appropriate departments.

Handle incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries, providing timely and accurate information.

Manage appointment bookings, student records, and administrative tasks using the school's database systems.

Assist in the distribution of messages and mail throughout the school.

Support the organisation of school events and meetings.

Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and experience with administrative software.

Ability to handle a busy environment with multiple tasks.

A friendly and professional demeanour.

Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo this procedure).
