About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Adult Mental Health Social Worker to join our dynamic team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will provide essential support to adults with mental health issues, helping them to lead fulfilling lives. You will work closely with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of individuals mental health and social care needs.
- Develop, implement, and review care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Provide emotional and practical support to individuals, advocating for their needs and rights.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in line with legal and organisational requirements.
- Participate in case conferences, reviews, and other relevant meetings.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in adult mental health social work.
- Strong understanding of mental health legislation, safeguarding, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting equality and diversity.
Minimum Requirements:
-SWE Registration
-2 year post qualifying experience within UK
-Eligibility to work in the UK
