Description
- Efficiently manage accounts payable
- Accurately process invoices and reimbursements
- Maintain up-to-date financial records
- Liaise with suppliers and resolve any financial discrepancies
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and annual financial audits
- Implement improvements in financial processes
- Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance team to meet departmental objectives
- Support other financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
- Previous experience in the public or Not-For-Profit sector
- A qualification in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and operating in a professional manner
