First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a Night Shift Welder to join an established and growing company in the Leeds region. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to defence and heavy industry products worldwide.

Reliable transport is preferable.
What's on Offer:
- £16.80/hr plus a 40% night shift allowance = £23.50/hr
- £500 bonus after 3 month probation
- Employer funded development and progression
- 4 night working week from 9pm to 7am.
- Straight to permanent role, no temp/agency period.
This role will report directly to the (manager title) and you will be expected to work as part of a collaborative team of operatives in ensuring the (overall job responsibilities)
Duties will involve the following:
- Performing high quality NDT welds that have high inspection pass rate.
- Slinging and lifting large components.
- Welding of sub-assemblies and pressure equipment using various welding techniques on high integrity pressure equipment.
- Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures, and ensuring that quality of workmanship is maintained and performed in a timely manner.
Essential skills, experience and knowledge:
The successful candidate must:
- have experience in Pipe and Open Root Welding, Weld purging, GMAW, FCAW and GTAW.
- be experienced in pressure vessels and stainless steel.
- be experienced in welding in 2G position.
- be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- be happy working nightshift for the forseeable future.
- have experience in radiographic and ultrasonic tested welds.
