Job Title: Asbestos Lab Analyst
Location: Gravesend, Kent
Salary/Benefits: £23k - £33k + Training & Benefits
Our Client has a new vacancy for a P401 qualified Asbestos Lab Analyst within their South Eastern team. They are a busy and well-regarded UKAS Accredited outfit with a presence nationwide. Experience / Qualifications:
- You will have experience working as an Asbestos Lab Analyst within a UKAS Accredited outfit
- Must hold the P401 (BOHS) qualification
- Strong writing and IT proficiency
- Will have experience participating in AIMS and quality checks
- Organised and methodical approach
The Role:
- Conducting bulk analysis of samples for the presence of Asbestos
- Using PLM and Microscopy processes to carry out analysis
- Logging samples when they arrive into the lab and processing safely
- Updating company records with results
- Assisting and training new members of the lab team
- Maintaining and overseeing working areas and equipment within the lab
