Rate: £600-£700pd Inside IR35

Location: Remote (Some travel required to Edinburgh)

Duration: 6-Months (likely extension)

Our client is looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to manage the team of application and cloud security specialists.

As the Senior Manager of Application & Cloud Security, the ideal candidate will provide direction, guidance, and subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on all matters related to application and cloud security. You will lead and manage the CISO Application and Cloud Security team, ensuring that the client's applications and cloud environments are secure and resilient.

What you will need to have:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing multiple teams, with the ability to inspire and guide your team towards achieving their goals.
  • Expertise in Security Domains: Strong knowledge and experience in Application Security, Cloud Security, Vulnerabilities Management, and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in the delivery and operation of penetration testing, static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and cloud security across multiple environments such as AWS and Azure. Familiarity with Red Team tools and services is also essential.
  • Risk Management: Accountable for driving, tracking, and reporting the remediation of vulnerabilities.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and audit security measures, identifying any shortfalls against established policies, and developing and monitoring improvement plans and actions.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a creative approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams across the business to provide the best outcomes for our customers
