Reed are recruiting for a Operations Controller to be based at Stansted Airport. Working in a small tight knit operational team, the new Operations Controller will attend to all service needs related to private aircraft, catering to the needs of the Operators, Passengers, and Crews. You will come from either hospitality, retail or customer service and have proven customer service skills and basic administration.

As the new Operations Controller, your main duties are focused upon ensuring all is arranged for the aircraft schedule which include;

  • Arranging all services for an arrival / departure
  • Booking in and responding to handling requests
  • Providing outstanding Customer Service to crew and passengers
  • Organising Fuel
  • Liaising with other suppliers
  • Using CFMU for schedule updates
  • Uploading Immigration documents to EGAR
  • Crew pick up and drop offs
  • Serving beverages

This Flight Operations Controller job is 4 days on/4 days off, working 12 hour shifts, 7.00am – 7.00pm so you must have a flexible approach to working hours to include weekends

You must hold a Full Driving Licence

Good computer skills are essential

All applicants will have previous experience in a customer service role either in hospitality, retail or customer service

Full 5 years history that accounts for all periods of employment, self-employment, unemployment and education (any gaps over 28 days must be verified)

Valid photographic proof of identity e.g. passport or driving licence

Valid Visa/Proof of right to work for non UK and out of EU nationals

Proof of National Insurance No. (or evidence that you have applied for one)

Proof of identity and address (Utility bill, bank statement, etc.)

Acceptance of and willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check (CRC)* and Airside Security Clearance

Where an individual has resided 6 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, the appropriate clearance must be obtained i.e. Overseas Criminal Record Check (OCRC) from the country of origin
