Electrical Control Systems Engineer - Aerospace, Control Systems, General Electrical Engineering - Permanent up to £65,000 basic + benefits
This is a generalist Electrical Engineer position where you will be focusing on Electrical integration, R&D, new applications, electrical signatory and in-service support projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, quality, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical oversight for suppliers of sensors, effectors, and avionic systems.
- Lead electrical/electronic R&D for new technologies within the various control system projects.
- Act as a Certification Verification Engineer for electrical systems.
- Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of electrical engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with extensive experience in safety-critical systems.
- Proven leadership in electrical design for aerospace systems.
- Familiarity with DO-160, DO-254, and ARP4754A standards.
Desired Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with DOORS requirements management tool.
- Understanding of avionics communication buses, EMI/HIRF effects, and electrical systems for de-icing and propeller control.
