Job Title: Senior Administrator

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm

Location: Redditch

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Benefits: 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, pension contributions and free parking.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a well-established reputable industry leader based in Redditch. Our client is an SME that focus on investing in its employees, developing their expertise and skills. They are now looking for an experienced Administrator within the Health and Safety department, who can keep up with a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be proficient in multi-tasking, have fantastic organisational skills and will thrive in a high-volume atmosphere.

Duties include:

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Conducting onboarding checks for both existing and new workers.
  • Developing, organising, and implementing safety training for employees.
  • Assisting with a broad range of functions, providing administration support for all activities related to the maintenance of health and safety, facilities, site integrity and environment.
  • Ensuring the completion and regular review of all assessments for all work operations.
  • Managing health and safety enquiries and providing support to the team.
  • Documenting and investigating all accidents.
  • Fostering a positive health and safety culture across the organisation.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in an Administrative based role.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be proficient in prioritising and managing multiple tasks.
  • A high degree of self-management and initiative.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to work in a discreet and confidential manner.
  • Possess a polite, friendly, and professional demeanour.
