Technical Assurance Lead

This person will have a degree or equivalent background and have strong experience working in multi-discipline technical engineering teams.

Core Focus

To lead and coach a team of Discipline Engineers and Projects Support Specialists in ensuring that project related assurance procedures are followed and are developed

  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams during the development (Scouting through FEED) & execution of projects
  • Ensure all activities are undertaken in accordance with company and UK legislative standards and requirements.

Challenges

  • This position requires a broad technical understanding of engineering technologies, deployed across high hazard process plant.
  • Able to lead engineers, designers and other project & contract staff.
  • The ability to manage multiple project activities, provide clear customer focus, make timely decisions and demonstrate leadership.

Previous Experience

  • The Technical Assurance Team Leader should have a degree in Engineering and have the status of Chartered Engineer or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years post graduate experience in discipline.
  • Able to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and in-depth knowledge of UK legislation and standards relating to Project Delivery.
  • Has a good knowledge of Oil & Gas or Chemical Manufacturing process equipment, safety procedures and systems.
