Horizon Teachers are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support our Year 11 students as they prepare for their GCSEs
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with Year 11 students to provide targeted support in English, Science, or Maths.
- Offer one-on-one or small group tutoring to help students grasp challenging concepts and improve their academic performance.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both teachers and students to ensure continuous improvement.
- Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels supported and valued.
Requirements:
- A degree in English, Science, Maths, or a related field.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A genuine passion for helping students succeed academically.
- Patience, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
