ROLE – Continuous Improvement Engineer
LOCATION – Surrey
TERM – Permanent
SALARY - £35,000 - £45,000 per annum dependant on experience
I'm working with a great client of mine who specialises within the Electronics manufacturing industry and they are on the lookout for a Quality Engineer on a permanent basis, in the surrey area.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will ideally have the following:
- Degree, HND Qualification in Quality, Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical subject
- Proven experience in sustaining engineering, preferably within the consumer products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Proficiency in CAD software (We use CREO but open to AutoCAD, SolidWorks etc..).
- Strong understanding of product design, manufacturing and injection moulding processes, and quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
The Continuous Improvement Engineer role will involve:
- Leading engineering efforts across the business, collaborating with various departments
- Implementing any process improvements that are identified
- Design and Documentation Management
- Quality and Operational Support
- Product Improvement and Cost Management
- Working as part of a cross-functional team
- Technical Skills and Design (CAD)
