Unit Manager Needed in Nelson!

Howard Finley Care are recruiting for a unit managers to work within our client's nursing home in Nelson. As a Non-Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our residential unit, ensuring high standards of care and support for our residents. You will lead a team of dedicated care professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.

Unit Manager vacancy details:

  • £13.96 per hour
  • Full time contract - 42 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • Will need to be flexible to meet the needs of the service.

Unit Manager main duties:

  • Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the residential unit.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, including conducting regular appraisals and providing training and development opportunities.
  • Handle resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
