Field Based Position

Territory Boundry: Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire & Peterborough

Our prestigious and award-winning client is currently looking to recruit a Territory Account Manager. As a Territory Account Manager, you will represent the company in your designated territory and accounts, supporting the Regional Commercial Manager in achieving overall strategic objectives. Your role involves taking ownership and delivering on assigned targets, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. The Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct sales role involving complex sales/tenders in the diagnostics industry.

About the Role

Sales and Account Management:

  • Deliver all pre and post-sales activities for Haematology and Haemostasis equipment and services.
  • Manage Managed Service Contract (MSC) portfolio, including third-party business to support overall solutions.
  • Develop winning bid strategies and ensure quality tender responses.
  • Drive excellence in service delivery and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a champion for the customer.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews and ensure timely renewal of customer annual purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and deliver accurate business reports.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
  • Engage in pre-tender business development activities and influence tender development through the company's value propositions.
  • Provide feedback on market developments and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Performance Management:

  • Monitor and manage sales performance, providing detailed forecasts and updates.
  • Support the Regional Commercial Manager with timely reports on business progress and market feedback.

You will Have

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct sales role involving complex sales/tenders in the diagnostics industry.
Previous experience of Key account Management in the Vitro Diagnostics industry.
Life science degree or equivalent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Negotiation and influencing skills with key internal and external stakeholders Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Customer-oriented with strong listening and presentation skills.
Innovative and detail-oriented.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
