Experience of teaching is not required, but the desire to complete your teaching qualfication is nessessary, don't worry though as all our training placements have full support and mentoring provided. You won't be overwhelmed and have a reduced timetable as you train - some colleges will also offer to pay for your Certificate of Education when you accept a temp to perm role.
This opportunity is ideal for someone coming from industry or a recent university graduate who is eager to develop their teaching skills and gain experience in the education sector. Every college provides support, complemented by the additional guidance and resources we offer as an agency. If you find working with a college to be a positive experience, there may be opportunities for further training, and in some cases, the college might even sponsor you through a teacher training course.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role as an Esports Lecturer. As an Esports Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, developing course materials, and mentoring students in the field of Esports. Your role will involve staying updated on industry trends, conducting assessments, and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
We do have full time roles available so apply regardless and we will have roles to suit.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in Esports or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in game design, strategy, or related topics
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to mentor and support students in their academic growth
- Understanding of the competitive gaming landscape
