Production Engineer

Our client as specialist within the electronics sector and part of a global group. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a Production Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will test and repair electronic pcb's, whilst improving the performance of the electronic repair department.

Production Engineer - Responsibilities include:

  • Working hands on, investigate manufacturing and customer returns, driving solutions to correct product problems
  • Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation as required by the business
  • Support other team members as required
  • Investigate root cause failures
  • Ensure product and process quality meets the required specification
  • General production technical support

Production Engineer - Knowledge, Skills and Experience Desired:

  • Minimum 5 years working in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Structured and organized, good planning, reporting, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be comfortable creating customer ready documentation and reports
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills and logical approach
  • Hands on PCB repairing/rework capabilities from thru hole to SMT to IPC standards
  • Ability to follow schematics and build process documentation

Production Engineer Schedule- Monday-Friday 37.5 Hours
