Publicity Executive

Our client is an award-winning, independent company, known for their practical and inspirational titles. They are seeking a creative and highly organised individual to join their Marketing Team. As a Publicity Executive, you will play a vital role in promoting their list and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Research, develop, and maintain strong relationships with authors, reviewers, influencers, journalists, and bloggers
- Secure and maximise coverage and reviews across relevant print and online media
- Manage and utilise our PR database effectively
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Show familiarity with InDesign and Photoshop, or have the aptitude to learn and use them effectively
- Assist in organising and promoting author events
- Possess exceptional attention to detail
- Analyse campaign effectiveness and contribute to the development of future Publicity Strategies
- Collaborate with other members of the Marketing team to share ideas and plans
Requirements:
- Experience as a publicist is advantageous, but candidates with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn on the job will also be considered
- An interest in marketing / publishing will be essential. If you have a qualification in marketing or similar and/or experience working in marketing we would like to hear from you
