Part-Time Accounts Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an immediate start accounts assistant with our client on a temporary basis for approx. 4-6 weeks. You would join their existing accounts team based in Dewsbury. You will have working knowledge of SAGE 200, along with previous accounts experience, and some credit control experience for this role.

Description and main tasks:

  • CASH and BACS procedures
  • Processing ledgers
  • Answering ledger calls and queries
  • Dealing with new invoice queries
  • Dealing with a level of credit control cover when needed
  • Additional administration duties as required by the accounts team
  • Adhoc tasks as required

Skills required:

  • Previous accounts experience is required
  • Experience of working with SAGE 200 is required
  • Previous credit control experience is desired
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel is required
  • You must be available to start asap and commit to this temporary booking for approx. 4-6 weeks

Hours of work are part-time (20 hours per week), which are flexible across Monday to Thursday between the hours of 08:00 - 17:00 and Friday 08:00 - 14:00.
