Finance Coordinator
Our client - a well established and fast growing business in the luxury short term rental industry, is seeking a remote, part-time financial operations specialist to support their financial activities, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The position requires approximately 16 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
Finance Coordinator - What You Will Be Doing:
- Process, verify, and approve invoices, matching them with delivered services/products.
- Administer payroll ( small numbers) and timesheet management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage expenses, ensuring proper categorization and adherence to company policies.
- Handle payment processing, including refunds and client/supplier payments, ensuring compliance and clear audit trails.
- Monitor payment flows resolving issues as needed.
- Assist in budget creation and maintenance, monitor cash flow, and forecast financial trends.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Collaborate with senior leaders to align financial strategies with business goals.
- Optimize financial software usage and propose process improvements.
Finance Coordinator What Experience You Need:
- Proven experience in financial management with similar responsibilities is essential.
- Proficiency in financial software.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of French and French accounting practices is a plus but not required.
What else do I need to know?
This is a remote position allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK but will require travel to France once a quarter. Our client values integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently within a distributed team. Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications. You will be working 16 hours a week across 3 or 4 days.
