A fast-paced, well-established and privately owned business in Greater Manchester is looking for an ambitious Part Qualified Management Accountant to join the team. Along with a salary of up to £35,000 per annum, you will also receive home working one day per week, 25 days holiday and study support.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities as Part Qualified Management Accountant will include:
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Sales and margin analysis.
- Variance analysis and reporting against budgets, forecasts and prior periods.
- Controlling AR and AP ledgers and supporting functions, overseeing weekly payment requests.
- Assisting with the budget and forecast process.
- Managing the annual audit process, and ensuring it runs smoothly and to time.
- Implementing, standardising and improving financial reporting and controls.
We're looking for a Part Qualified Management Accountant with:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices with experienced gained in a similar role in a fast-paced environment and ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced Microsoft excel skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Disciplined to meet deadlines while maintaining controls.
- Passionate and can-do collaborative attitude.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the business.
