Role: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Central London
Rate: £430 per day - Outside IR35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading cost and project management consultancy in Central London. The Quantity Surveyor will be working on a growing portfolio of high-profile projects for clients across the private and public sectors.
Key responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Play a crucial role in measuring all shell and core, as well as fit-out elements, for commercial office and residential buildings. You will be responsible for preparing cost plans at RIBA stages 2, 3, and 4.
- Tender Analysis: Undertake detailed tender analysis and review market rates to ensure cost-effective project delivery.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize your expertise in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Cost X (measurement) software. Experience with Cost X cost planning software is highly desirable.
- Project Management: Collaborate effectively across multiple projects, demonstrating your ability to manage workload efficiently and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
What we're looking for:
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience in cost management and measurement for both commercial and residential projects within a consultancy or clientside environment
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and Cost X (measurement) is essential. Familiarity with Cost X cost planning software is a significant advantage.
- Team Player: Self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills are vital, with an ability to liaise with clients and team members across multiple projects.
- Candidates that are chartered with the RICS will be at an advantage.
On offer is a day rate of up to £430. This is an outside IR35 role and also offers hybrid working.
