Female Rehabilitation Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Female Rehabilitation Assistant to support a lovely young client who is studying at University and is a talented wheelchair athlete. This is a part-time position working circa 12-hours per week. You will mainly be in Kingston-upon-Thames, with very occasional requirements for support in Maidstone. All travel expenses will be fully covered.

This is a perfect role for a Psychology student or recent graduate eager to get into support and rehabilitation work.

Working Hours:

The hours are usually Monday to Thursday evenings however, our client may need to access activities at other times and on other days of the week. A rota will be agreed a month in advance and the flexibility to work hours according to our client's timetable is beneficial.

Pay Rates:

Weekdays @ £18:00 per hour

Any weekends hours worked will be paid @ £19:00 per hour

Any mileage and/or travel expenses will also be paid plus payment of travel time.

What you need to be a successful Female Rehabilitation Assistant:

  • Experience in physical disability, mental health and autism is essential
  • The ability to deliver high standards of support to maximise the client's participation and enjoyment of life
  • The ability to follow care plans and risk assessments
  • A caring, sensitive and professional approach to working

A driving licence with access to your own vehicle is also preferable.
