Architectural Technician

£35,000 - £38,000
Our client is the largest designer and supplier of energy efficient homes in the UK, and they are seeking an Architectural Engineer to join them. The role will be based in East Grinstead with a salary up to £38,000.
Key responsibilities
- To be responsible for the accurate preparation of detailed construction drawings
- To ensure that all technical drawings and information are to the highest quality, accuracy and to meet agreed deadlines.
- To prepare technical drawing packages for planning applications
- Have an understanding of the Building Control process and prepare and submit client Building Regulation Applications
Requirements:
- Experience in Structural Engineering or have an Architectural background.
- Ideally professionally qualified RIBA/CIOB, Degree in Construction Management or Architecture, or relevant qualification in Architectural Design
- Good understanding of Building Regulations and Planning Permission procedures
- Ideally experience of Wolf design software
- Experience in other industry standard software considered.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
- Understanding of timber frame structures advantageous
- Full UK driving licence essential due to our location
