This is what you'll be doing
As a Property Litigation Lawyer, your duties will include:-
- Managing a diverse caseload of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, boundary disputes, and ownership/TOLATA claims.
- Providing legal advice to other departments such as Commercial Property, Employment, Debt Recovery, and Probate.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, statements, and applications.
- Conduct advocacy in court where necessary and negotiate settlements.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and practices, ensuring compliance with all procedures.
The experience you will bring to the team
You will bring the following experience to the Property Litigation team:-
- Qualified lawyer or FCILEx with experience in civil litigation and/or property law.
- Proven ability to manage property litigation cases, including landlord and tenant disputes.
- Strong IT literacy and confidence in adapting to new systems and processes.
- Experience using social media and networking for business development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
