Pavilion Insurance Recruitment have been instructed by our client - an Independent Brokerage based in Epsom, to recruit a Commercial Account Handler.
You will form part of a team that includes a Senior Broking Executive and an Account Handler, managing the insurances and administering policies for an estimated book of £500k brokerage income which comprises of SME to Corporate Complex policies.
Your primary role will be to offer support to the Senior Broking Executive who will take the lead with clients. You will prepare reports, put risk to market through composites and Lloyds and will assume all other task responsibilities aligned to broking administration.
Policies are Property and Construction led, albeit not limited to Packages, Liabilities, Combined, Fleet and some HNW.
This can be a fast-paced role, where you will be required to action client requests 'on the go' so if you enjoy being busy whilst balancing providing a professional broking service, this could be the role for you.
This position would suit an individual who values the importance of working in a small team where service and organisation is key.
Experience required:
- Commercial Insurance policy broking -SME or Complex
- Experience in using Acturis (training will be provided)
- Someone with excellent organisation and efficiency skills
- Someone who enjoys working with pace when needed
- A reliable team player, who can equally work well on own tasks with initiative
- Confidence in liaising with Underwriters and policyholders
- Living within a reasonable distance to Epsom
