Trinity House Group are working in partnership with an innovative, fast paced organisation to recruit an Interim Head of Finance on a Fixed Term Contract basis. Responsibilities
Partnering with the Senior Management Team, supporting financially driven decisions with clear insight and analysis.
- Responsible for sideways & upwards reporting of standard and ad-hoc financial results.
- Detailed, regular income forecasting.
- Cash flow reporting with strategic recommendations.
- Overhead budgeting, analysis, and reporting.
- Strategic capital expenditure planning, seeking opportunities where the maximum capital allowances can be applied.
- Financial risk assessments.
- Involved in setting objectives for the company.
- Remuneration planning based on financial results.
- Disaster recovery planning.
- Expansion planning.
- Ensure integrity of all financial processing and reporting.
- Oversee and facilitate preparation of monthly management accounts and onwards submission.
- Quarterly financial reporting to linked financial institutions.
- Liaison with partners at the financial institutions to ensure the most favourable outcomes for the company.
- Partnering with auditors to ensure a smooth, compliant audit.
About you
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- Experience of working in a varied role, comprehensive cash flow planning & reporting.
- Sound knowledge of computerised accounting system software. - Advanced Excel experience.
- Experience in payroll processing and reporting - working knowledge of PAYE, RTI and VAT principles, regulations and reporting requirements.
- Experience of managing a team and building rapport.
- Great communicator who can seamlessly adapt to the relevant audience.
- Ability to forge relationships and establish trust quickly.
- Quick to manage changing priorities and direct a team accordingly.
