leading my client's Costings Department and make a real impact in ensuring accuracy and efficiency in business operations.

Location:

Harlow

Salary:

£30,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Working Hours:

8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (30 minutes lunch)

Hybrid Working:

Yes, 3 days in the office and 2 days from home (after training and successful completion of probationary period)

Holiday Entitlement:

23 days (including 20 days free choice, 2 days between Christmas & New Year, and 1 birthday day), plus 8 Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and organise the work of three costings administrators, ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Review and process completed engineering job reports to ensure accurate revenue billing.
  • Verify and manage subcontractor invoices and customer payments, ensuring all transactions are properly accounted for.
  • Prepare customer valuations and applications for payment, meeting critical deadlines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations.
  • Support and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across the department.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong experience in administrative roles, particularly in high-volume, process-driven environments.
  • Leadership or team coordination experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; knowledge of systems like Tesseract, Compleat, or Sage is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage workloads effectively and meet business-critical deadlines.
