Teaching Assistant | Coventry, CV1 | £85 - £100 per day | September 2024
We're looking for a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our partner Primary schools located in the heart of Coventry. You will have the rewarding opportunity to make a significant contribution to the development and success of students who need additional support during their educational journeys. The school is looking for a teaching assistant to join them on a full-time basis from September for the full academic year, for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the teacher in delivering lessons and activities, including preparing materials, setting up equipment, and organising the classroom environment.
- Encourage active participation and engagement with learning.
- Assist in creating and adapting teaching resources and materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students in the class.
- Contribute to creating a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Support students with their overall wellbeing by delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification/degree.
- Have experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Have at least a year's experience supporting Primary school pupils.
- Have a passion for helping children to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
