This hybrid role allows you to work 2 days onsite, with the flexibility to work remotely for the rest of the week. You'll be contributing to exciting Government projects, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities to learn, develop, and grow.
Key Skills we're looking for:
- Understanding and some commercial experience with either Java or Python
- Interest in front-end technologies like React, JavaScript, or Angular
- Familiarity with version control systems (such as Git)
- Eagerness to learn and adopt DevOps practices
- Interest in containerization technologies like Docker (a bonus, but not essential!)
- A proactive mindset and a passion for continuous learning
Your Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining web applications, working on both front-end and back-end systems
- Help design and implement APIs
- Collaborate closely with experienced developers to learn best practices
- Write clean, efficient code while getting the support you need to grow
- Gain valuable experience working in an Agile environment
Qualifications:
- Enthusiasm for software development and a desire to improve your skills
- British Citizenship (required to apply for SC Clearance)
