Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Dog Grooming Assistant & Dog Carer to join our team at a rural dog day boarding site. The ideal candidate will assist with grooming services and provide excellent care for our canine guests, ensuring their safety, comfort, and happiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in grooming dogs, including bathing, brushing, and nail trimming.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of dogs in our care, reporting any concerns to management.
- Provide exercise, playtime, and socialization for dogs.
- Ensure all dogs are fed and have access to fresh water.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dogs' needs and behaviour.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dog grooming or care preferred.
- Passion for animals and a strong understanding of dog behaviour.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
