Technical Sales Engineer

First Recruitment Services are delighted to be assisting our client, an expert within their field. On the search for a talented Technical Sales Engineer (UK Market). This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to continue their development within a team of professionals who are specialists within the industry.

The role

  • To exceed the company order volumes and revenue targets that are set, ranging from new inbound leads, self-generated outbound opportunities and through marketing platforms.
  • Shape pricing and social media strategy with the Head of Business Development and Marketing to ensure the company is maximising their content on all social media and e-mail marketing platforms.
  • Managing inbound contacts and outbound telephone and TEAMS appointments, with a focus on maximising conversion rates from contact through to sales.
  • Attending product training days as required.
  • Attend exhibitions in the UK, and abroad if required.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 2 years previous sales experience.
  • Experience within the metals industry or with instrumentation is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience selling technical products or instrumentation is advantageous but not essential.
  • Hands on experience of optical spectrometers or XRF is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the CRM tool Hubspot is advantageous.
  • Ability to travel in and around the UK.
  • Ability to articulate technical or complex issues clearly.
