Group Operations Director required for a small portfolio of care and nursing homes in the Midlands.

We're delighted to be working with an established care home provider entering an exciting period of transformation and growth. With a strong reputation for quality and compassion, the company prides itself on creating a warm and welcoming environment for both residents and staff. As the organisation continues to grow and enhance its services, it is seeking an experienced Group Operations Director to join the team.

The Group Operations Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations and long-term strategic direction of the company's care homes. Reporting directly to the Director, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the operations of multiple care homes, ensuring high-quality care and services are delivered consistently.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational performance and drive growth.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and staff retention.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including residents' families, regulatory bodies, and healthcare professionals, to maintain excellent relationships and address any concerns.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in care delivery and operational practices.
  • Support the commissioning of new services.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior operational role within the care home or healthcare sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards in the care home industry.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and enhancing the lives of residents.

What the Company Offers:

  • Salary in the region of £80,000 - £90,000pa negotiable DOE
  • 25 days annual leave + bank holidays
