The successful Management Accountant will be based out of the Coventry office 2 days per week, salary on offer is up to £53,000 + bonus + some of the best benefits in the market.
As the Management Accountant you will play a pivotal role in producing, improving and modelling financial and performance reports that enable finance and operational colleagues to monitor performance and provide insights. The ability to form close relationships with finance teams, Operational and Commercial Managers is key, as you will business partner with them to understand their reporting requirements and provide new solutions or improvements to existing processes. Sitting within a capable team, you'll be exposed to some real finance talent and have fantastic progression opportunities.
Responsibilities Included:
- Managing the collation and consolidation of the Group performance reports for regulatory reporting.
- Ensuring that all financial statements are accurate, investigating and resolving any anomalies and ensuring that any irregularities are communicated to senior Finance managers.
- Maintain, develop and improve implemented solutions
- Support in improvement of systems and processes
- Develop strong working relationships with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure enhanced collaboration
- Develop processes for finance and supporting functions, leveraging tools such as robotic process automation (RPA) and AI
Skills and Attributes:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- An understanding of financial systems, ERP solutions, and emerging technologies
- Proven experience in working with data, developing solutions and automating processes.
- Skilled at financial modelling
- Has written, verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build productive relationships with managers, cross-functional teams and other stakeholders across the business to implement solutions.
- Strategic thinker with a forward-looking approach to technology adoption
