My client provides workplaces with software for people management. Anything that might need tracking in the workplace, they can produce software to do this. Due to their growth in recent years and their plans for the future, they are now looking for a BI Developer to join them.

THE BI DEVELOPER ROLE:
You will be responsible for understanding various data sources, assessing their integrity, and determining how they can be effectively compared. You will design and deliver insightful dashboards that tell a complete story, enabling analysts and managers to gather actionable insights and make informed decisions. Additionally, you will stay current with BI updates, balancing self-service capabilities to empower users to perform their own analyses, reducing your workload. You will also assess the business value of new reports, proving concepts and influencing stakeholders to drive adoption. Finally, you will support the data warehouse process by developing reports that monitor the ETL estate.
BI DEVELOPER - ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Experience with Azure Synapse/SQL Server as data sources and Power BI for aggregation, analysis, and visualisation.
- Strong experience in dashboarding, with a proven track record of delivering impactful dashboards that enable clear analysis.
- Proficient in using DAX to enhance Power BI reports and add value.
- Capable of managing a Power BI estate and effectively driving change.
- Experience with SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) Tabular Model.
